Summary

Implement design and development of software for automotive instrumentation and electronics modules such as Body Control Modules, Instrument Clusters, and In-vehicle Network Gateways.

Responsibilities

• Participate on a team of software engineers in design and development of real-time software to be embedded in automotive modules.

• Help gather or create requirements or specifications.

• Implement requirements through design, coding, debugging, validation, release and maintenance phases.

• Interface with internal groups such as electrical design, validation, testing, manufacturing and quality under direction of software project leaders.

• Follow software project plan, schedules and action items.

• Provide estimates of effort.

• Participate in improvement of personal and departmental capabilities.

• Support product builds, launches and investigation of quality and warranty issues.
